I decided to make a mini-scrapbook page to give to my bridesmaids / maid of honor when I asked them to be in my wedding. It makes sense because I am the trusty scrapbooker for everyone I know. I cut all of the letters with my cricut and adhered everything with my xyron. It was a lot of fun! I hope they like them!
Flower Girl Pommander
Here is the finished flower girl pommander. It took maybe an hour to do one. They would be cute decorations for the church but I just don't have the patience. Step-by-step instruction below.
Liberty Bell table number holders
I bought a bunch of replica Liberty Bells from The History Education Store (http://www.thehistoryeducationstore.com/). The I bought thick jewelry wire from AC Moore. I cut and curled the tops of the wire so they would hold the table numbers. I first attempted to drill a hole in the top of the bell so I could insert the wire. Well 2 broken drill bits later I decided gluing the wire to the back with a hot glue gun was going to have to work. It held great but didn't looks so pretty. I just made sure the venue had the glued part facing the certerpieces.
Flower girl flower
The sash my flower girl was wearing needed a little something. So I went to Michael's and picked up a single fake flower, some rhinestones and pins. Something flatter works perfectly. I took it home cut the stem off and then followed this tutorial: http://www.theribbonretreat.com/blog/how-to-make-a-flower-clip.html
Cardbox
Dad tackled this one. I bought the 11x14 frames at Michael's and ordered the fabric that matched my bridesmaid dresses. Dad followed this tutorial: http://roadtotheaisle.blogspot.com/2007/09/diy-photo-frame-cardbox.html
